Piles, which are also called as hemorrhoids, it is a condition wherein the veins of the anal canal swell up. This inflammation could be internal, occurring inside the anus, or protruding out externally through the anus. They often result from prolonged problems of constipation and indigestion, leads to hardening of stools.

Apart from being an uncomfortable and embarrassing condition, it is usually not a serious health problem.

Some of the home remedies for piles are:

Radish juice
Taking radish juice in the morning as well as night is one of the best home remedies to treat piles. Begin with ¼ a cup and level up to ½ a cup gradually over a period of a month. Radish juice soothes digestive system and application of radish paste along with honey can aid in easing the pain.

Black cumin seeds
Mix 1 tbsp of roasted black cumin seeds with 1 tbsp of unroasted black cumin seeds and powder the mixture. Take ½ a tsp of the powder with a glass of water once a day.

Bananas
Ripe bananas usually relieve pains. Boil one ripe banana in a cup of milk, mash it well. Taking this mixture at least 3-4 times a day aids pain related to piles.

Figs
Figs are one of the most effective Ayurvedic remedies to treat piles. Wash 3-4 figs and soak in a glass of water over night. Eat them empty stomach in the morning. Repeat the same process even in the night.

Bitter gourd juice
Crush the leaves of bitter gourd to extract its juice and mix 3 tsp of the juice in 1 glass of buttermilk. This mixture should be consumed on an empty stomach every morning, for a month.

Buttermilk

Take a glass of buttermilk with ¼ Tsp of carom seed powder and a pinch of salt. Buttermilk is highly recommended in the daily diet for people with piles.
